How Often Should I Have an Eye Test?

We recommend everyone should have their eyes tested every two years. Some eye problems are much easier to treat if caught in their early stages, and we can also test for other conditions, such as glaucoma. If you have any eye or sight problems you should come and see us as soon as possible. Contact Lens wearers need to come in every year for a check up.

What Does an Eye Test Involve?

We tailor all our eye tests to your individual requirements. We test how well you can see and read at a distance and close up and advise you on the eye correction you may need. We also examine the general health of the eyes and check for eye diseases.

How Much Will An Eye Test Cost?

If you are ineligible for a free eye test, our comprehensive eye examination costs £50.00.

Can I Wear Contact Lenses?

If you need eye correction it is possible you will be able to wear contact lenses. Please arrange an appointment to discuss whether contact lenses would be a suitable solution for you.

Could Laser Eye Surgery Help Me?

Some problems such as long and short sightedness can be permanently treated with laser surgery. This could mean you won’t need to wear glasses again! Come and talk to us for unbiased, friendly advice.
