Eye Tests
At Robert Glass Opticians we use the most up to date methods to carry out your eye exam, our optometrist is fully qualified with plenty of experience making us well equipped to advise you and your family. Click here for 10 good reasons to have an eye examination.
We recommend that adults have an eye examination at least every two years and children once a year.
Glaucoma Tests
Please mention to us if there is a history of glaucoma in your family, as it is hereditary and can be less damaging if treated early. The glaucoma test examines the optic nerve, and measures your eye pressure and field of vision.
VDU Screening
Employers are obliged by law to provide eye tests for staff who use VDU screens for long periods. We can make special arrangements with employers to help them meet their legal responsibilities and ensure that their staff's eye health is monitored. This can benefit the employer by providing an invoiced price-fixed service rather than having to process numerous expense claims and can ensure a consistency in the quality of eye test for employees. Companies with more than 10 employees that need to be tested can benefit from additional savings.
